Vermont Department of Children and Families, Economic Services Division: Originally selected to create interior and exterior artwork for Vermont’s Zampieri Building in downtown Burlington, home to the Vermont Department of Health, I was asked (after the state decided to sell the building) to design and create artwork for the space to which the department moved. I arrived at the designs after much listening to staff, community, and others interested. The project includes two large paintings, each 60 x 54 inches, hung next to each other, and a suite of nine very small paintings, each 9 x 12 inches. The installation is now complete, in 2025. The galleries below so first the two large paintings, then the nine small paintings, and then some installation photos.

Hyde Park Views: Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Public Art for the Town of Hyde Park, Vermont: This permanent, outdoor, public art piece incorporates luminous architectural glass panels reproduced from my paintings inspired by Hyde Park’s history, flora, fauna, Abenaki culture, and local architectural gems. The glass is installed in a custom designed steel frame. Each section of four panels follows alternate curving rails. The sections call forth the four seasons and a view of Hyde Park and its historic buildings. Photos of the paintings are two galleries down.

Colorado Suite:  These paintings have been converted into twelve 4 x 5' glass windscreens for the Westminster Station platform for the new light rail line from Denver to Boulder, Colorado. They were commissioned by the Denver Regional Transportation District and the City of Westminster, CO. The paintings hang in the Westminster, CO City Hall.
